Commentary
- According to a Giving USA report, nearly 70% of the $485B in U.S. charitable giving during 2021 was funded by individual U.S. donors. Americans are a very generous people!
- While total charitable giving in 2021 represented 53% of the $900B spent on national defense that same year, we should do more to increase that ratio sufficient to better promote peace both domestically & globally.
- RR/NoBull is doing our part & we donate 1% of all our sales to Feed the Hungry. While this does not compare to the government’s $119B SNAP payments to feed 41MM hungry Americans, it helps all the same.
- During this time of global crisis, those with the means must work extra hard to understand how to meet the desperate needs of those without. The only other option is war & suffering, something we are all eager to avoid.
